Helping Families in Legal Matters for Over 30 Years

Bergen County Divorce And Family Law Lawyers Serving New Jersey And New York

At Hartstein & Hartstein Attorneys at Law, we commit to providing committed, resourceful legal representation for our clients in northern New Jersey and New York. Law firm founders David and Samuel Hartstein have more than 30 years of experience in multiple practice areas. Our Bergen County divorce and family law attorneys — as well as our personal injury and business law attorneys — do not put our clients through unnecessary, expensive legal steps.

Hartstein & Hartstein Attorneys At Law Provides Efficient Legal Counsel

From our Englewood office, a 140-year-old Victorian home, we represent clients in an array of legal topics. We have family law attorneys who address legal matters in any relationship, be it a married couple, same-sex couple or unwed couple.

We also represent those involved in injury cases, such as car accidents, dog bite cases and medical malpractice cases in New York or New Jersey. We have also established decades-long relationships with businesses and private clients, for whom we serve as general corporate counsel.

David and Samuel Hartstein have provided their litigation insights through lectures, publications and commentary regarding trial techniques:

  • David Hartstein's work has been published in the Fordham Law Review, and he co-authored an article in the New Jersey Family Lawyer about a surviving spouse's waiver of death benefits when a prenuptial agreement is executed.
  • We have counseled corporations on the American Stock Exchange, and we have served as closing counsel for the Republican National Bank in New Jersey.
  • We were also involved in the landmark Schulz vs. the Archdiocese of Newark (95 NJ 530), the 1985 case, and appeal, which sought to overturn the New Jersey charitable immunity statute.

Our attorneys know that success does not come from legal skill alone, but from clear and consistent communication. We respond to calls and emails right away, offer clear answers and provide efficient solutions.
